RO1: New rides for jobs

Hey guys - just a quick update. I already shared some info with Rafa over at ragnatales before posting it here, so I'll just give you guys a quick run down of things and you can visit his article over at ragnatales. Link: here

-This was jRO proposal project.

-New rides/mounts for each job. [Even gunslingers]

-Currently the stage is set for them to be Rentable, through Cash, Quests, and Events. *Please note the actual mechanics to obtain them isn't finalized yet.

-Players will be gifted with special boosts.

-Swordsman types will have NEW mounts in the future.

-Plans for the release is sometime During or After Indonesia's World Map.

Hey Guys - just a quick update on things.

After and during the events of CBT I've been seriously swamped with work, I still have to give a post on the 6-7days [which is minor] and to award our contributors for their Screenshots/Video submissions. Not to mention I'm still going over all the comments and suggestions you guys been sending in, which some haven't been uploaded yet. I'll try to get to those soon.

Oh yeah, I had some requests to show the mouse pads I was giving away, so here you go:

In between all of this, I'll be doing an interview with Rafa and his community over at Ragnatales. Don't worry when it's released I'll repost or direct link you guys to the interviews.

We got RWC in Oct. and LU Live2010 in Nov. - Not to mention I got alot of things to finish up between now and End of Q4.

Though, I want to actually apologize to the RO1 community and fans out there for what might have seemed like I've neglected, but in all honesty, I haven't. I'm still developing for RO1, in which is mainly my focus right now.

As always, I'll try to keep you guys updated. Till then!

RO2: CBT Day3/4/5 + Screenshots

Day 3 was filled with more testing on the connectivity, channels, logins, patching, and trying to fix some major bugs. In fact it became such an issues the servers actually had to close early for the players to even test on. I received a call last night about it actually, so some of you guys noticed I haven't been streaming the CBT. While I'm still aware of some concerns and issues the team and public are having, let me stress out that this is all part of the CBT.

Day4 started off with continuing and recapping the fixes that team made before closing the servers last night. While it might not have looked much of an fix upon start up, the team requested for another 30mins to close down to fix another error. In exchange, to the players Gravity extended the CBT to the players an extra hour to test the new stability. Generally it worked, but still not sure how players from long distances we're handling it. A great deal of players finally made it to Home base "Prontera" to job change, made some new weapons, clothes, and armors.

Others have ventured off to the Prontera Sewers too.

Day 5 - Things started to get a lot better as we approached the weekend, making the server stabilize for everyone across the world. Some things are still being tweaked around with each channel, but for the most part except for the lag and random DC's it works.

Today we've seen a good amount of players finally turn lvl 15 to get their Peco Rides. Others started to job change and venture off to Ludlow and Mt.Mjolnir. Some started to battle the Dimago's while others tackled the Grand Mastering.

Also a lot more positive feed back started to roll in once players had a chance to set aside their frustrations and become more open-minded with the game itself. The servers became a little more stabilized as another playtime of extension was granted as well.

Some new feedback actually are in regards now to some of the skills, buffs, cool downs, items, warps, mobs, systems, animations, etc. Most of which is in regards to RO1, or just giving creative criticism, which is all very appreciative. Some players even sent in pictures of them falling out bound of the maps like in Prontera sewers or jumping into lakes to swim with the fishes at Prontera.

Though bugs are what we're really after, just for a heads up, some been found in the party system, some quests, Peco mounts, and a few other things. For the most part though, actual bugs that are being worked on, one of which is actually a concern that sometimes a player account turns into a broken/fake GM account...not really changing them into a GM but they're locked from using Skills, and a few other limitations while being hidden. If this happens to anyone, please Log out completely, and try to re-log to see if it corrected the issue, if not please make a report on the bug support page.

For the most part, things are starting come together.

RO2: CBT Day2 Feedback

After 1 heartbroken day and 2 hrs in on the 2nd day. Users finally got a chance to experience RO2:LotS. As users approach the elegant login screen, and character creation screen, they've began their quest hunting an array of Porings, and all other sorts.

But then the actual duty of the CBT kicked in while trying to have fun. The Bug hunting and the evaluation of the game's life....So here I am sharing with you all some of the general responds which came rather quickly, in the last hours up-until closing.

CBT Contributors + Contest

Hey guys - I'm actually looking for some CBT contributors who are willing to share their experiences here. There are 2 reasons why I'm doing this:

So all the wonderful people who actually can't see the game can enjoy it here.
So that in cases there are any problems or issues other people are having the team can actually review it much quicker, than through the bug support page.

I'm also doing a side Give Away/Contest for Contributing. This is actually my 1st time doing something like this, so please be patient with me while I work out some kinks. RO2: Job NPCs

I've translated partially whats important on the next upcoming news from the site. This time it's about your Job changing NPCs. Hope you Enjoy!

*I've edited the appropriate names for each Job manager.

Yes I've changed the names. They're not mrs_choco's translations nor anyone elses, expect for my own, apparently these names are becoming an issue, regardless if I give the correct ones. You guys keep sending in mail about the names being right or wrong, when they're just beta NPC names. I don't want to publicly give direct translations of the names cause they're not appropriate to display.

These names will most defiantly change in time, especially going to localized servers. Not to mention these are just the current job managers in development.

The actual translation are of the following:

Benatsu
Reodu
Sahni
Pay/Fay/Pae
Rear
Shuti
Lucy
Steer
[Rokku or Rotsuku]+ [SAN = Mr.] + Antonio
Hiryu

Working under Publishers I know they would NEVER name a character Rear or Steer for woman...

It isn't appropriate which is why the names I've posted was arranged this way. As for the assassin NPC his name can be translated many different ways, his was ment for Korean to Japanese direct and you can find it also being Ropponmatsu which skim pointed out earlier. I picked Roksuku since it's a combination of his crazy name without the last name which means Invisible or Hidden Rock.

In the end, his name might end up being slashed down to Antonio.

I hope this help clears up any mis-understanding with these names.

Last little note - I was tipped off to visit some websites, and I noticed the translations I provided and Images, are being used without my name for credit. This is simply a warning to you guys, I won't mention any names yet but seriously update your pages. Expressions and Emoticons, can be accessed through the Skill window, by hitting the shortcut key "K" on your keyboard, after which you would then click the icon you wish to use. You can also input in the chat window '/' commands for Social Epressions or '//' commands for the traditional Emoticons, following the slashes would be the shorten name. Ex: //heh

To make these weaves and dyes, you'll need to visit the costume designer NPC "Beston" and purchase those. Then you'll be able to apply a set pattern of weaving and dyes from the set The patterns colors can be edited, or shifted with vertical, horizontal axes, resize and rotate the pattern as well.

After reading through many requests, I've decided to take a little time to do a Quick introduction for you guys based on the new NEWS that was presented earlier today.

The article was entitled: RO2: Introduction to Mt.Mjolnir Monsters

Mt.Mjolnir is an area that sits around and in-between The Town of Almin and Prontera. This is also known to be one of the first places players will encounter once outside of these towns.

Let me introduce to you 2 new monsters.

One of which is a redesigned version of RO2[GotW] AndaNora's from the NORA family. The other is know as Brownie or also known as Leprechaun. These 2 guys are one of the few in their family trees...

RO2:Translated Job Descriptions

So I was getting a few comments about translating the Job Descriptions.

I really didn't want to bother with those since they're a little flaky on actual details and some of these descriptions we all know from RO1. Never or less, some of the classes like Warrior, Hunter, and Ranger do give off some good information you guys might like.

Sorry if the translation might seem a bit rough as I was rushing, and the descriptions alone aren't that detailed.

With the current issues on the renewal site, I know it might be inconvenient since theres no option for the comments, thats why you'll always have the option to use the classic site, some of you might just stick around on the old layout due to being simpler and easier on the eyes, who knows. Currently I'm hosting it through my company's server since its the most convenient right now, other than that, all I can say is that any business information you find on there please respect it as it's only ment for business. RO2: Spirit Forging

The picture says it all! Now let loose your wildest imaginations.

With the use of the Duel Class [Blacksmith]: Equips can not only be Refined, Created, or Upgraded...but also gain spiritual attributes from monsters. You can even apply this to broken weapons you might have, which would allow you to fix or transform new weapons.

Personally I call it Spirit Forging - Users will be allowed to combine monster spirits to certain properties just like what cards used to offer, instead giving you a whole new unique weapon. This also covers various equips so with the Tailor just imagine what you'll be able to design with a Desert Wolf Coat?

We've been seeing some feed back in regards to how to obtain a Beta Key. If you already have a RO2:GotW account then the process will be abit easier, and/or Gravity Gamer account. If not then you'll need to start from scratch and create and new Gravity Account.

CBT Tester Application:

2010 11 August to 25 August (14 days)

CBT Duration:

2010 August 31 to September 6 (7 days)

CBT Winners:

Fri, August 27, 2010 2:00 p.m. (@ 2:00pm Users will need to log-in to the home page to accept the confirmation of their winning account.)

Please note that this is limited to only allowing up to 5,000 users, and among those will be randomly selected. Paid customers from previous events and left over payments from RO2:GotW will automatically be placed in a separated [excluded from the 5,000] batch for testing.

If your account is fully validated then next you'll need find the Tester page. Take a look at the image below for the actual button. Make sure you logged into your account before proceeding.

After you've clicked on the Link a pop-up window will open as you'll need to start filling out some more information. Once the steps are finished, your done. ^^

RO2: The Jobs Q/A

Time to finally show all the good news about RO2 Jobs and their systems.

*Please Note: all information may still vary upon it's official release, due to it being still under development. Thank You!

You'll start off with 5 Main Jobs-

Swordsman - Acolyte - Archer - Magician & Thief

Lvl. 1~15/20

Upon those you'll currently branch off from 2 jobs like in RO1.

Swordsmans = Knight or Warrior

Lvl. 15/20~50 ~99

Acolyte = Priests or Monk

Lvl. 15/20~50 ~99

Archer = Ranger or Hunter

Lvl. 15/20~50 ~99

Magician = Wizard or Sorcerer

Lvl. 15/20~50 ~99

Thief = Rouge or Assassin

Lvl. 15/20~50 ~99

Now it doesn't end there - Instead of Rebirth or 3rd Jobs, RO2 will currently offer a Light and Chaos system currently known as the "Chara System" [Name will mostly change]

At Lvl. 50~99 Players will be able to choose between staying Neutral - Light[Holy] or Chaos[Dark].

Upon playing as any of those Hues you'll be able to bounce back and forth of which side you wish to play as. However, re-gather points to change back and forth to a certain side will take awhile. Though this allows players to fully take advantage of some skills being offered while being Light or Chaos. Being Neutral will have it's advantages as well.

Will this effect Guild Building & What other advantages are there?

Chara system would be effecting the type of guild you are building. The more Order players, the stronger your Order Guild skills will become, Not to mention the type of guardians and locations you can take over.

The type of Guild that takes over more regions or a certain location, will also effect the world that players are involved with. Example: If Payon is owned by 60% Chaotic Guilds then the prices and treatment from NPCs to common Light Players will drastically effect them. Starter Jobs will not be effected by this.

This is all still in the testing phases since the development team needs to see if this can be abusable, or not - based on the conditions that are currently set for it.

Will my job change if i'm Light or Chaos?

Yes your job will change. Depending on the side you choose you'll become a new type of class with new skills unlocked.

This is still in the development stages to actually see if it can be a final design aspect for RO2.

You won't be able to just jump in the middle of battle and change into a Blacksmith, you'll be able to USE your blacksmith skills from the skill tree though. Outside of battle, you'll be able to change into a Blacksmith and take advantage of all your Blacksmith skills, while still obtaining and using SOME of your main job skills. You can still go back into battles as your Blacksmith - but remember your now limited to using some of your main job skills or weapons.

Tell us about the NPC system, I don't get it? I need to see how you can customize your "offline NPC" and how the user interface behaves, as I've seen how organized shopping makes a game more pleasurable and even helps the in game economy.

NPC's offline functions are pretty straight forward, as you'll have a whole array to different assets you can choose from. You can vend, forge, create, bake, the whole nine yards, just by selecting the pre-set options available. Prices for your NPC's services will vary as there is a Suggested price you should charge, but you may go over or under that. If your NPC is creating something for someone, the customer will select what they need from your NPC, allowing them to see your level skill for that creation as well. If your NPC if offering Users 1/2 the requirements [EX: Empty Bottles] then all they'll need is the rest of the requirements. If they meet the requirements, then Ta Da! You've just created white potions for your customers.

Once your Empty Bottles run out though, that option will be lost for future customers so the rest will be stuck providing the Empty Bottles, until you log back to hunt for the rest as a service to your customers. Of course though, this is one of the many options you'll have upon Release.

What will happen if I D/C in a battle? Will my NPC start crafting next to a boss?

If your worried about what will happen if your in a middle of a battle and you suddenly Disconnected, your place will still be saved and your NPC will not be activated until you active the NPC in a safe spot. It's a whole separated function that you must set, just like Vending in RO, but imagine logging off while vending and your Still making Zenny till your shop runs out. Once you log back in - you'll receive an invoice of your transactions and continue your adventure.

You said Acolytes will look like the NPC picture, what happened?

I never said thats what they'll look like 100% i said expect something similar, I'm not authorized to actually say it or not at the time. Designs of your outfits are not out of the question either - it's just RO2 is offering the newer design since time moved forward for Mid-gard, Knights even bare a slight resemblance to the Lord Knights.

There is some confusion going around about if it's Izlude or not, I'll make this statement now since I'm getting alot of comments regarding it. So here goes:

I've have this blog for almost 4 years...nothing has changed design layout wise, or even the banner for that matter. I think it's about time I give this place a new make over...and tackle new things with RO, not just for me, but for you guys too...

Hey Guys,

Just alittle awhile ago Sorcerer was finally released on Sakray-R. Here is a look at the sprite:

Now to share with you guys a little about the design. As you can notice, it's Japanese/Oriental themed Sorcerer, but if you closer at the build of the sprite, it's just like the Genetics layout to keep the major reborn designs intact. The Sorcerers wear magical amulets to amplified their new controlled elements. Both Male and Female lost the fox for feathers to match some current trends of sorcerer/magic users designs in other games. Female DOES wear a transparent dress and wear sandals.

Hey Guys,
I'm leaving a reservation spot for the Genetic so you guys get a heads up that it's coming very soon!
EDIT:
As I promised The Genetic was coming soon! And as of today - a little awhile ago - it was officially uploaded to Sakray-R. Now that I can it's released I can freely show you guys the design along with explaining some designing backgrounds to it.

The Genetic - is short for Genesis/Generator. These guys pretty much are loyal Biochemist who can generate DNA and strands into other things. It really makes it the TRUE job level up from the Bios. Not to mention the Genetics can generate new stronger homunculus to aid in battle.

Heres a look at the sprite:
Now the design of the Genetics is pretty simple since it's suppose to represent something similar to the previous job. As you noticed the shoulder-pads are now wider/bigger and also animate. This was simply because the last job shoulder-pads WAS suppose to move and breath-fire just like the art works you guys might see around. However, due to deadlines once the sprite was finished and the public liked it how it was, it was never looked backed at. Since this is a new job of the same type, this time it was made a point to finally make the shoulder-pads move like they're alive.

The outfit now represents more of a creature then just the cape did before, which showcase it as demonic/fiend armor. The chest armor is Satan Morroc while the shoulder-pads are Hodremlins.

Something that's been patched through to pRO servers recently and will most likly be making it's way shortly on all servers, it's the Quick Cash Shop Button.

Yup just like on most MMO's now and days they offer that mini-icon to go directly to the Item mall instead of the hassle of going to the NPCs for the common items that you might need. Well this was requested by the pRO team, to get developed so that players that can't get to the Item Mall, can get the items they might need ON THE SPOT.

This is really a good thing for Guild teams now that might need Elites, LOL.

New: Red Cup

Small post today about a new and simple Headgear that'll be hitting jRO servers soon, and soon following official servers in the coming days to possible months.

It's a typical Japanese cup that many choose to drink wine/liquor from.

Actually, this headgear was designed based of a (spin off by monthly) RO manga featured in Japan and was requested by the artist (Narihara) of the manga to be brought out as a new headgear to promote the newest issue "RO Am I going?" which will be released between this Augs - October. jRO players will have to wait till the book finally released to get their hands on this item while other regions will soon be patching and prepping up with their own promos.

Each volume in Japan will come packed with a ticket that will allow you to get this lower headgear. The tickets will expire if you don't redeem them with in a few months, so yeah.

Well as I promised in my earlier posts, that I would update you guys when the Event MVP: Kingling was close to being presentable.
The sprite HAS been done for awhile, it was the sound FX's and Card Image I was waiting for, before I showed you guys all of it without doing another post about him.

This new monster is even more devastated then the Event "Poring the Conquerer". Giving him the powers to spawn every type of Poring to known midgard, along with some additional MVPs/Mini Bosses in there, not to mention also having super powered buffed skills and stats. He's a king for crying out loud, and he loves ruling his peoplelings and lands. Or should I say world....New World that is. Haha.

I'll work on providing you guys a video or some screenshots soon, I'm just finalizing some stuff with him (Which I'll explain in my next post) before he gets shipped off to get added.

However, In a few months time I can assure everyone that this headgear will make it's way across the Japanese sea very very soon. Methods on HOW to get it will of course vary with each regions servers so keep an eye on your local RO Servers for details. Here are the stats:

NEW Official RO Manga!

Hey guys,

Today I want to share with you a new RO manga that's being created by Gung Ho and will be published inside a Japanese monthly manga magazine called "Dengeki-Maoh". So to answer any questions...NO THIS ISN'T ABOUT Myung-jin Lee's original manga...even though I wished it would have been it, lol, but this is a completely new story and art style created for Gung Ho and Japan readers, which actually is rolled around the same structure of RO-Animations foundation of plot and character development.

Manga will hit Japanese stores: 5.27.09

Summarized Story/Plot :

It's center around a Female High Priest and a sad excuse for a Knight...In the story we quickly find out that the High Priest isn't your typical nice Full Support. Instead shes the most meanest unsentimental jerky support you could ever party with.At the same time, the suppose "HERO"(Dish) is having a hard time being the Knight he's suppose to be...**Cough**Rune-Knight**Cough**

They'll be joined by 3 additional (party)characters:
A cutey prissy Female Merchant &
The pretty boy master mind of tactics the Male High Wizard.

*At times a Male Priest will jump into battle or events to prove the Female High Priest wrong.

Not to mention 3 troublemakers/comical reliefs characters:
Female Ninja
Female Hunter &
The (*Pimp LOL, I'm just calling him that) Male Professor/Scholar.

My Thoughts:

The manga is actually well made, not too messy, not to perfect either. But I can see why Gung-Ho wanted to make this manga. Main reasons is that the 3rd Jobs will be introduced in a few months time in Japan and round the world...so what better way to slowly introduce their story line then with a manga of a Knight who COULD become the very next Rune-Knight or Royal-Guard.

The manga defiantly was created to keep players on the edge while theres promos to BUY the manga Japanese players of jRO will get limited items after imputing their redeem codes. Not to mention since RO2 is basically Dead for now, Gung-Ho has no other Anime to work one since they had plans for doing the RO2 Anime...so with the manga they'll be slowly producing the next RO anime under this generation of hero's.

However, when you think about this manga compare to the RO-Animation....is ALMOST similar in many ways in terms of key character development, plot, and story. The main MVP will be consider in this story will be Satan Morroc & Nidhoggr being the biggest pillars to the story, along will Thantos and Naght Siege...so yes the period of time is almost current to patches, so as I said just when 3rd jobs is finally released fully...this guy will be encountering 3rd job characters.

Today I'm gonna share with you something new that'll be patched through kRO Sakray this week....Which I'm happy to be able to show this before it's soon uploaded.

YUP! Minstrel & Wanderer's Sprites!

The Minstrel is based on the idea of a Jester/Joker of playing cards, thus the reason for the red, white, and black colored theme, not to mention the jacket too.

While the Wanderer was based around the idea of a wandering swan, thus the reasons for the white feathers and wings.

Rune Knight's Colored Dragons (Ferus)

Hey guys,

Today I'm gonna share with you Rune Knight's Dragon mounts with some different colored Ferus (Dragons) that you'll be able to obtain through Quests, and/or Buy able tickets to redeem to NPCs.

(Please note designs and functions are subject to change)

These won't change any skills or preferences besides color of the mount, and it won't effect your current dye selection since it's a whole new sprite file that gets replaced with the current ones.

So in short, these won't be available until ALL the color dye files (Palettes) are complete so that your Rune Knight can still travel with the dye you bought along with the new mounts color.

These options will become available with other class mounts as well, so keep an eye out for 'em in the future, of course tho. I'll update you guys when I can.

Ragnarok Online Mobile Story *Update

Well, as promised I was gonna keep you guys updated with the new RO Mobile Story for newer cell phones. Today I'm gonna show you guys the GvG, 20vs20 systems, along with some extra updates extending the pervious mechanics of the current development.

What has been added and changed from last update?

Classes that can be found currently and used have been finalized which are all classes up to 2-1. However, 2-2 classes are currently being developed and will be patched through with your services once it's complete.

Also, the maps are rotatable now. Alittle laggy when using it and the map sizes had to be reduced to keep it from killing the phone but it works.

Current Town Maps are: Prontera, Geffen, and Izulde. Each containing 16 maps around each town as well. Plus there are plans for development for Prontera sewers.

Durning Quests, NPCs that are needed to be talked to will give you a guided path on your maps and light up on who needs to be talked to.

Quests will enable you to goto dungeons to battle with MVPs 1 on 1.

GvG/Guild System/Party System/Friend List

Most of the data from your main RO account CAN be wired from the PC-to-Mobile. So any existing, registered friends, to guild, to party's will be instantly transferred to your mobile account.

Not much to really say about the GvG besides there you have it, find friends with your cells and/or PC to join up and go make a guild to go do WoE anytime anywhere on your mobile device!

(Note: this doesn't connect via LIVE to the PC-MMORPG servers so you can't go head to head with your servers current guilds, only the Mobiles server's guilds. Exp and prizes for the guild do however get wired back to your PC account.)

Only 2 towns can be taken over which is of course Prontera and Geffen. Plans for expansion are underway depending on the amount of players that flood the mobile GvG grounds.

It takes about 3-4 weeks to finalize and upload the next sprite onto the patcher if things change I'll update you guys.

XSEED Games have been working closely with GungHo in order to try to get the license for RO for sometime now, and it seems like after today's Press Conference, it's been officially confirmed that it WILL begin being translated and ported for US households. Winter of 2009 it's aimed to be released.

If your not aware of Ragnarok going to the Nintendo DS, this is chance to get all the details. I've provided you with some info down below.

Ragnarok Nostalgia!!! + My Bunny Top Hat!

Well the project of the RO mobile "Ragnarok Nostalgia" for Korea is pretty much ready for the public now, equipped with some features as Japans RO Mobile Story but redesigned for simpler phones to handle it instead of the touch screen ones.

This is a new Mobile Game that's fully ONLINE playable with friends connected VIA Mobile.

It's still in the works if credits will be used to buy from the Kafra Shop, like in normal RO servers. For the mean time it's just as is, play the game win events, kill monsters, send your items and zenny to your real RO account....yeah it's all good!

Plus the nice part is the design of the game, it's actually Babyfied/Chibi/SD type so the sprite is actually reduced images of the larger size sprites.

One bad thing about the game is the lack of classes...right now it only supports MAGE, KNIGHT, and PRIEST, each going from 1-1 class to 2-1. Gravity is still in works with this project but the features and monsters are pretty fun to beat up! Maybe with enough support we can push these funky designs into real RO servers...

Last thing:
I'm very SHOCKED to see my Bunny Top Hat actually being re-used as a monster's Edit...but Gravity really messed up the other ear... ::sighs::
Either way, once again my designs have made a mark in RO! Woo Hoo

Just a little word of advise, the designs are not 100% but I'm not sure if Gravity will advise anything on changing things up, seeing how this has happened before again and again...but at lest the sprite is up, and the skills are still in testing, but so far so good.

Hey guys,

I know I haven't updated the blog for awhile but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up I'm still here!I've been really busy with meetings, and work for RO! So trust me, stick around cause I got a few things to announce when the time comes, right now though the only thing I can announce is the new headgear that I developed almost a year ago for Philippines RO's Summer collection, which was the Beer-2-Cap it's a Hat with 2 beer cans on the sides with those long straws.

Hopefully if all goes well May something, it'll be released and I can show you the finalized in game sprite. But anyways, besides that Regional Championships are brewing for RO which means RWC '09 which is going to be held in Japan this year.

So yeah, I've been pretty busy catching up with everyone seeing how its Holy week (Easter Week). So yeah alot of people are on leaves or going on leaves, etc.

Besides that, I've been working on 2 personal side-projects which I'll announce soon...But yeah guys I'm really sorry for the lack of updates, this is normally when things get crazy.

OH YEAH, I'll also be updating you guys when you can possibly see me on a LIVE BLOG show hosted By Level-Up! and LU's Joey Alarilla. So you guys can actually ask questions and leave comments and we'll answer them on the spot or mention your comments. RO iPhone /TouchScreen Mobile!

Sorry I haven't been posting much new stuff for RO, I've been somewhat busy with a few other projects for Capcom and Udon Comics regarding the 15th anniversary of Dark Stalkers.

Now that those projects are done, I was able to get back into working with RO and getting updated by my team. Apparently, the latest development for RO isn't or shall I say, will be...is a closer step from the RO DS, which was inspired by other MMOs converting to the DS.

Well apparently, other MMO's and game developers across the world are making fast cash off of iPhone and other Touch devices these days. So GungHo and Gravity decided to it's time to take RO out of the DS wood works and approach the same factor as "DC" did "Watchmen iPhone".

Yup basically it'll be once again a mini-watered down version of RO, but on your touch devices. Almost the same as the DS version with un-rotated maps and wide range of functions etc. But you'll still be able to hack n' slash, level up, and chat with various mobile device users from across the 3G (or other mobile connection) networks!

The game is being currently developed under "Flash" for Mobile Devices, so that might already take away the mystery if your cell can play it or not. But from what I know iPhone doesn't have Flash enable Games, so the only bet some of yous got is someone licensing it in the States, and ports it to iPhone. (Fat Chance Maybe?) But here's to hoping the development of this project shifts to going to iPhone Maybe....mainly though this is under Japan standards so they're choosing what phones are more popular and which sell the most for games out here.

So far the phones in Japan that are enable for this are NTT DoCoMo FOMA 905i series or later "i APURIONRAIN" are models. OpenGL-ES，iアプリオンライン，iアプリコール，ワイド画面に対応している。 OpenGL-ES, i APURIONRAIN, i APURIKORU, which corresponds with the use of the wide screen.

Onward to more details...
The plus side to this game is that it's integrated with the PC version on some aspects. The main focus of the mobile version is to expand the idea of WoE/GvG. Players will be able to create and join guilds through the mobile network, also allowing integration with their main PC accounts. Players who don't have a guild can also play solo doing some Quests and Leveling as well in minor areas. Vending and collecting Zenny is also available with this mobile version.

But as I stated before, the main focus is to allow new guilds and older guilds to be connected on a regular bases so if your teammates are on vacation they can at least recruit new members or collect zenny, Etc.

I find this a nice concept for solo players as well, who just want to do something while they're away from the PC, and don't own a Laptop. The Mobile version will offer events, and promos as well as the PC version. So if you wish for this device to be release I'd start bugging your local RO provider to get this for any local phone service. LOL.

It's a very simple concept and I'm sure it'll be a hit in Japan, no news if it'll be licensed in the other countries though. I'll try to keep you guys updated about it, it's just once it's release it's released, it'll be mainly depending on if someone who's connected with Gravity wants to license it in that region. Maybe the Philippines will get it under SMART, if LU plans to get this title. Who knows, LOL.

RO isn't FOR the iPhone per-say, it's just an example of the certain type of touch device that it COULD be on along with many others. The NTT DoCoMo FOMA 905i series or later models have been confirmed though, so Cells like them might be highly possible in your region.

Hey Guys,

This is pretty old stuff, but I happen to come across these pics when I was going through some old files back when I was in the Philippines for Level-Up Live 2008.

These were poster boards I made for their art contest. Even though the chances were slim to none seeing how I'm a developer. Plus when I was designing this the theme wasn't posted nor did I bother to actually check at the time since I was busy as it was.

The concept/Theme I picked was pRO's 5th Anniversary, seeing how I was the one who made their Birthday Poring cake...I figured to make it as a catchy theme type to impress pRO/LU.

The 1st pic. was a collaboration of some of the clip arts we made for Ragnarok World Championship 2008 shirts at our booth. While the 2nd design was customize for that picture.

Anubis Headgear Release!

Hey Guys,

Back then I showed you guys my Anubis Headgear when I was 1st designing it.

Well it was released on all Philippine Ragnarok Servers as of: Dec. 23, 2008 - Jan. 7, 2009

It was a Limited Edition Headgear selling at 10,000 ROK Points (500php)

So yeah, stats of the final product are the following:

Hey guys,

While I was at Live 08 it became a real treat for me to finally meet the man behind the Ragnarok Manga, which started the entire revolution of Gravity buying the rights/license to produce it as a MMORPG...and then it growing into a massive Franchise world-wide...pretty much he has a easy life now relaxing and collecting royalties from all over the world, oh and he does a few art works here and there to help with concept arts and promotional use...some day I hope I can be like that, lolz.

Anyways here are some pics. I had taken on my Flip Mino while I was there...We really had a nice time, we we're able to talk 1 on 1... well with the exception of his translator of course, about all the things we've both done for RO, along with what can and will be done for the Future of RO! He was really excited to see my works, and really hopes that Gravity and Level-Up! can work out a better understanding with our new contents about to be produced after a whole new world...Sadly he has no control over Gravity's approval with contents, tuff luck though, LOL.
It was still a great honor to meet him and talk about things!

Soon after the meetings and a week of organizing thoughts, Level-Up! and Gravity started to undergo new Developing ordeals which will conduct new plans basing around new installments and developments after a whole new world. I'm VERY Excited for all the new projects and concepts we'll be developing seeing how my roll is now much more larger then before with previous RO installments. /gg

Ragnarok DS Test #2 (DarkKnight Sprite)

Hey Guys,

I got another chance to test RO for the DS, and this time I was finally able to test the Dark Knight and Male Shaman...As a Plus side to things, they did increase the map mobility so u can rotate some of the maps, but only to a certain degree, kinda like in the Insides rooms/Inn/Shops from the towns...But never or less they're trying...

As for the Dark Knight and Shaman Class sprites, nothing has really changed besides it's playable for your main character to change into...or one of the orginal classes...You only have 7 Jobs to choose from and they only expand to 2-1. Plus you'll have the choice of Dark Knight or Shaman....

Besides that the game is looks alright, but still the sprites has been downgraded alot to fit on DS units as I said before in one of my pervious Posts about this...So it looks like someday I'll be in charge of recreating those 2 Jobs for RO servers...lol

Anyways heres another little sneak peek at the classes...To be honest I was truely expecting the Dark Knights to be alot more like Nightmare from Soul Calb. but I guess they just couldn't do it that way, I mean they already have the look, why not the weapon....Oh wellz I'll make sure that they'll have somthing like a huge buster sword later on down the road, LOL. Mechanic Mounts

Hey Guys,

This is some more stuff about the Whole New World stuff, continuing off from the Rune Knights Mount...Pretty much this time it's about the Mechanics Mounts...

(Designs and Functions are subject to change)
YEAH IT'S A MECHA...

This time Gravity has developed the same kinda thing I worked on before with the ride on mechas for mounts but it's of more of skill/function for the Mechanics to use and make, they're actually arranging IF the class should allow development Mechas for all player classes. But as it stands only Mechanics and control these beastly beasts. The Heads can be changeable here and there for diffrent looks to match your likings (however that function might take along time to actually complete so there's only 1-2 default for now). The base head works as a Skull for the endoskeleton, while I'll explain in abit later, it can be upgraded.

The system works pretty easily considering it's only changing your class sprite and head sprite, and then adding the list of mech skills...you'll be locked from using a lot of normal summoning skills etc. so be caution these are pretty much melee type fighting machines so far, but they'll have options to equip new head PARTS like you do with head gears...weapons and junk will also increase your type of skills and battle mode. Hey maybe someday they'll give them missiles to shoot out!

How Does a Mechanic Build and Ride a Mech?:
Very simple, accuire the skills from your quest. Collect the materials and bam, now you've learned the ablitly to create a Mech armor. Next you'll need to be able to Equip it. Thats another Quest Skill where your going to be taught how to ride it and what it limits you from it. After that the rest is history.

It's sad tho. a long time ago the GM's (and possible players) were suppose to be able to ride in mech like things too, but it seems like gravity didn't want to deal with a Capcom Law suit with it ALMOST looking like Baby Commando from "Captain Commando". Take a look for yourself:

Rune Knight Mounts Confirmed!?!

Hey Guys,

I just came back to states, after a nice 2 week vacation to Philippines to celebrate the historic event of the 1st ever hosted RWC event outside of Korea! It was a blast I must say....and I hope Level-Up gets a chance to host it again soon!

Anyways, as I came back, of course I had to get back to work as well, checking my e-mails and stuff...

Well one of friends who's been keeping tabs for me at GungHo was able to show me the latest development on the Whole New World....YES all speculations are confirmed if what they're doing is true or not....I HIGHLY warn you........

Rune Knights Dragon Ferus

The Mount will be able to do Dragon Fire Breath Atks along with Auto Defense skills to protect the Rune Knight in some ways....Right now I'm only given permission to show some frames of the Dragon Mount...But I think you get the basic Idea. Enjoy!

The 3rd Eye!

Hey Guys,

Just as the heading says...."The 3rd Eye". This is a one of the many new head gears I'll be submitting along with "The Poring Bags".

There really is not much to share about this head gear since, it's pretty much a 3rd eye. Kinda like the ones you see Shamans, Monks, or any other Anime character have.

This head gear is FULLY animated with the eyes blinking and it closes as well when being hit.

The stats for this headgear is still unknown besides the fact I want to give it +INT, +DEX in some ways along with autocasting Ruwach.

Face Worm MVP

Hey Guys,

Before I went about working on getting ready for Level-Up Live 2008, I was working on a new monster for pRO servers to get. Which was the Face Worm...
Face Worm, appeared in the original Korean Manga of Ragnarok vol. 1...

The thing is, back in Beta days of RO, the Face Worm was going to make surface, however the development team could not justify the animation and style of it...Though they made the Face Worm card and kept it in the client side all these years, which later became a GM Card.I know now that Gravity is trying to dig up the roots of RO to put into the game, so I took liberty to make that happen for pRO 1st. Introducing the Face Worm Monster....Thought details on the mechanics on how we'll approach this is still in the works.

I had an idea where the players could buy a ticket or somthing that warps them to a new map containing the Face Worm.

The Other idea was that players could just Buy his Card after proven they've killed him...This would mean a whole seprate NPC to read off the items that the Face Worm Drops, This would pretty much be a Hyper Mart Quest thing, LOL.

Shaman and Dark Knight ! + DS Details!

Hey guys,

I'm just gonna show you guys some pics and explain simply that these are the new Shaman and Dark Knight classes coming at ya soon on the "Nintendo DS". Yes that's right, if you haven't heard RO will be hitting the NDS by next yr. however, I myself have gotten a hands on the game plus gotten a chance to be able to release some details about the upcoming classes...

Let me start off by saying I didn't make the sprites for these classes, So just to stop the e-mails and comments about how horrible the sprites in the future there, I'm just stating that I didn't do the Dark Knight and Shaman Class sprites...Honestly I don't know how or why gravity even let those sprites be approved to be put into the game...

Now let me just lay this out in the open...the game is Far from being a real deal, in fact you can't even rotate the map around in a 360, PLUS all the images are just 2 different sides being quarter views. I can understand it's to compress the feel of the game in a DS card but seriously, they could have increase the quality on the new classes at lest...

Neat little new features is that you can use the stylist to do different skills and attacks. Plus you'll be teamed up with 2 other NPC characters who will help you along the way.

Don't expect EVERY MAP in the game, and DON'T EXPECT every MVP and class in the game...
You're only going to see the top tear MVPs and common to known RO monsters and Maps. And Most of the classes you'll see are all the 1st classes (plus expanded) and 2-1 (from what I've played so far).

Now Online/WiFi play will allow you to have a connection with 5 friends (DS) to explore a 50 floor random Dungeon...That's about all your going to get WiFi related.

Once you buy the game your given a free item code that will last for 30 days or else it expires. So once you add it in time to your account, you'll be upload 2 new Items to your account. Which are the "Village Benefits" and "Odin's Mask" (or in Japanese : AUDOMARU and ODINMASUKU)

The Stats of the Odin's Mask are the Following:

-All Transcendent Classes Execpt High Novice
-Required Lvl. 50
-Lower & Mid Head Slot
-Adds 6% damage to all Demi-Human Monsters
-Hit -10
-Unbreakable

Stats of the Village Benefits now:

-Accessory Slot
-Novice Only
-For each monster killed you will gain a +5% Exp boost.
-Adds +5% damage to all monsters.

The Odin's Mask is more for current players, while the Village Benefits is just really for that extra boost for the noobies...or anyone who wants to get a early boost on a new character.

Anubis Helm - Exclusive Look!

Hey Guys!

This is one of my favorite works as of yet, It's known as the Anubis Helm and you guys are getting a Sneak Peak at something WAY BEFORE it's even released! Thats right, this the 1st time in my blog I'm actually displaying something before it's released commercially, or even announced!

Infact, the design MAY vary depending on when it's finally approved result seeing how Gravity likes to be picky, so I might have to tweek it up, but this is what I've sent as of last night. Let me start off by sharing with you that these class ideas have been in the works for a few years now, Infact project G.A.T.E. was where most of these classes came from.

The good people over at Level-Up! know very well what I'm talking about, when I say these been in works for a few yrs. simply because thats a fact! These classes and ideas were in fact some of my 1st works....

See we had a fusion system called Arc Classes, short for Arcadia Class. Pretty much it was were your current class skills will be fuses with the other 2-1 or 2-2 skills to become a fusion class. So an Assassin would end up getting all the Rouge skills...or Vise versa, Etc.

Not only that, but mechanics could produce Mecha rides for all player classes to use, PLUS Rangers and Hunters had Wolf mounts.

I created the 1st concepts behind the Wolf mount simply because I was tired of seeing the RO clip arts that was made of the Hunter always with the Wolf, so I figured why not make it a Mount! And then BOOM! As for the Mecha, it was pretty much a simple concept inspired by Ghost In a Shell alittle...using the Apocalypse monster as it is, but opening up the Head so classes can ride in it. Since all RO chars. need a head to work from, I opened the head as a lid for it. But Now we've took it under a whole new direction...my teammates at GungHo are using the head sprites to being the mecha's head...and well You'll see in due time! ^_^

These are the 1st ideas behind the wolf mount and mecha mounts...In game specs for 3rd/4th classes:

You can get these classes by going from either 2-1 , 2-2 OR 3-1 , 3-2 (Reborn Class). Each of these serve a different style for your builds on your characters. When your 2-1 or 2-2 and go into the Migration class, you'll be treated as a normal Class up character, getting certain builds that you can't get when your Reborn, certain options for different skills will be unlocked as well. When your Reborn going to the 4th class you'll be able to keep your stat boosts from before. Along with that, all your transcendent weapons will be usable. In this Job class your Max lvl will also be extended to 150 for the lvl cap! Thats not all, most of these classes are build around PvP now, so we could expect to see some heavy guild matches!

The Job Quests will also vary between Medium and Hard....Medium would be if your Not Reborn and Hard would be if you are Reborn. The hard quest will require Cards, headgears, and other Misc. objectives. As for the Medium, it'll fall under the same toughness as to going into Reborn.

I'll update you guys more once the next 6 classes are done, along with the Pecos, Dragons, and Wolfs! hehehehe.

Mask of Ifrit !!!

Hey guys,

This is one of the best additions I've created for the headgears in the Item Mall...players can now unleash more power of Ifrit's with wearing my new original "Mask Of Ifrit". Yes you heard it, Ifrit's mask....Not ears, MASK! Fully Animated, and well equipped with a force to be reckon with!

Seriously, this headgear took me some time to finish to make it perfect, and still today I find some mess ups, but it was accepted! What scares me the most was the over powering stats of this thing...The development at LU really came up with an unbalanced headgear, however they removed the extra possible head slots and card slots too, so it does work out. I really hope you guys find yourself enjoying this new headgear I designed! This headgear was released on offical servers as of [July 23, 2008].

Mask of Ifrit
- Str + 1 Int + 1 Mdef + 5.
- Increase 10% resistance against Fire Property attacks.
- Decrease 10% resistance against Water Property attacks.
- Enables use of Lv. 1 Sight.
- Autospell Meteor Storm Lv. 3 by a certain chance when receiving physical attacks.
- Autospell Fire Bolt Lv. 3 by a certain chance when dealing physical damage.
- Unable to refine
-Animated

These stats are like having a built in Dark Lord Card on a headgear and then some! Really powerful stuff. Hahahahaha. Enjoy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! TO RAGNAROK IN THE PHILIPPINES!!!

It's the 5th Rok'n successful year there and I'm proud to be friends with some of most innovated, creative, unique, and great people there at Level-Up! I wish RO there in Philippines to have many more HAPPY and successful years to come!

Now on ward to the good stuff---

In honor of the great celebration it's a pleasure to introduce my next addition to the RO servers! The "Poring Cake Hat" oh yes, this was an original idea I designed just for pRO! They've release the headgear as a special event headgear that has some niffty stats that will be removed by September 30th 2008. Well this headgear event was officially lunched [ July 17, 2008] and the event ended [July 23, 2008]. To all the lucky players that got this fine addition CONGRATULATIONS! You'll be Rok'n in Style!

Ears of Ifrit

Hey guys,

We're here once again to introduce to you yet another of my fine collections, this time to feature highlights from the episode Veins! This headgear I can decently say is much better then the normal Elven Ears, since it's the "Ears of Ifrit" yes, fully animated flamed ears! Not just that but Ifrit's Ears, you could just feel his power burning up within you. Hey just check out his stats on it. hahaha. The thing about this headgear is that it was pretty simple to do, so not much to say besides it has great stats for a middle slot, and it's animated and better looking then the Elven ears! wOOt wOOt! /gg

I hope you guys get a chance to enjoy this fine addition to my collection of works! This was officially released on the servers [July 16, 2008].

Bunny Top Hat!!!

Hey Guys,

I'm here to introduce the last of the season 1 premium collection for the Item mall! This one is my favorite original designs for a headgear by far. It's stylish, cool, animates, it surely tops the normal bunny bands, and oh of course the stats! Let me present to you the "Bunny Top Hat!", I'm really proud of this headgear because of how well I was able to come up with a unique design just for RO basing around the thoughts of an evolved Bunny Band. I'm mean, I seriously didn't think twice on the design, it was set in stone in my thoughts that If I'm doing animated ones then the ears should bounce too when walking. But LU liked the design, and Gravity accepted, so there you have it! One of my prized works officially touched servers on [ February 12, 2008 ] . Since then players seemed fonded of these new additions to the servers....But why stop there...hehehehe. I hope you guys enjoy this headgear, just as much as I do!

Orc Hero Headress!

Hey guy,

When I was introduced the idea to create the premium headgear collection, it was to originally over write the sprite images of the Evolution version gravity made in which they reused older sprites. Well this certain headgear I recall being the 1st idea to pop in my head when I was talking with the guys at Level-Up! I explained, "Well I imaging the headdress bigger and more feathers like Orc Heros, and when u walk the feathers move." The RO team seemed impressed with the idea, so it was my 1st headgear I actually went home doing right away for them to get released to this new premium collection.

But see, it wasn't all milk and honey with this gear....I think i spent too much time on it in fact. Each feather was a Layer that I had to animate, Not only that BUT the head plate was also another layer. The thing was, I knew i did something wrong, see I was alittle rusty from doing sprites for RO fromt that time, infact I was doing sprites for another game, and see I completely forgot about the size limitations...It's not like it was bad or anything, it's just yeah you take a look at it:

So what I had to do was resize the entire thing, and redo all the layers animations and each frames layers filled with the animation! In the end I was able to finally make what I wanted with the headgear improving the size and animations...

But the troubles didn't end there....the development of LU sent me test pics of it in the server, and well....when ever you sit with it, it would slide right off , LOL. Just take a look:
FINALLY after I fixed the problem, it was officially released onto the servers by [Febuary 12, 2008]. So yeah this was one of my favorites to the collection, simply because it has alot of story that made it what it is today. Hahahaha. Well I hope you guys will join me in taking part of this wonderful headgear in the Item Mall and enjoying the greatness it has!

Koneko Hat!

Hey guys,

Well heres yet another fine original addition for me to introduce for the premium headgears. This cute little headgear is known as the "Koneko Hat". It seem to become a quick favorite among fans, who just love cute things...This is a FULLY ANIMATED HEADGEAR. The Neko changes it's expressions in different views when you toggle the camera. even durning battle pose or when your dead. X___X

I was actually surprised that Gravity accepted this gear the way I sent it because I thought they wouldn't understand the lingo of the expressions being toggled. But obviously they noticed and accepted the idea, allowing it to be a new addition to the Item Mall! I'm very proud of this gear because it rivals the other fallen kitty bands AND the Neko Mimi. Well I hope you guys enjoy this headgear just as much as I did making it! It was a pain doing all the frames....but it was worth it! This headgear was officially released [February 6, 2008].

Gentleman’s Pipe!

Hey guys,

I'm here again to introduce yet another great addition to the premium headgear collections! It's the "Gentleman's Pipe"! Completely original design by myself, even the concept for making it fully animated! Yes it was base upon those Japanese Pipes with cool dragon engravings on it, gems, and of course the smoke! SO WHY NOT IN RO?! hehehehe. As you'll see, the pipe was approved and fully patched into commercial servers as of [January 30, 2008]. I hope you guys will enjoy this just as much as I did!

Flying Evil Wing!

Hello everyone!

Been a long time hasn't been?! Wow, I haven't updated for sometime now, but don't I'm here to keep updating! In fact I HAVE ALOT of things to share with you guys from this point on, seeing how it's been months since I posted anything important that was released officially.

I guess I can start with the rest of the premium headgears that I was listing down, between the
Baphoment Horns and Dark Randgris Helm. In total there are 7 headgears to this collection, so I'll introduce number 3 the "Flying Evil Wing". Now let me note here that THIS IS FULLY ANIMATED just like a few others I will be posting about. Well I hope you guys enjoy!

Dark Randgris Helm!

As you guys might know already I’ve already talked about an Official headgear which is currently on PRO servers. Well today, I’m going to touch base on yet ANOTHER new headgear I’ve designed that is included in PRO’s new headgear collection, but this one is special to me…

See, back when I was working on GATE, I created a class known as the Elites, who each watch the servers, and towns. With that, they needed to stand out from the crowd, seeing how I created a new custom class sprite for them I figured they needed to stand out further…SO I designed them new equipments so it’s easier for them to stop the perpetrator.

Ahhh, nostalgic times…..Anyways, there was a certain headgear they wore known as “The Darkness Helm” it became a very popular headgear with players and even with my chosen Elites.

As time went on to finally pitch new creations to Level-Up! Games in the Philippines, one certain headgear caught the eyes of the brand manager of PRO at the time, and it was no doubt “The Darkness Helm”. Soon after I sent sample images to him, Gravity then wanted more of that content and others, so now I present to you….the NEW “Dark Randgris Helm”!!!!!

For the official release I gave the wings on the Headgear more detail, so it matches with official standers.

Baphomet Horns!

Today I would like to introduce something I’ve planed to for some time now.

It’s known as the Baphoment Horns, which are pretty much a kick ass version of the original Majestic Goat Horns. This headgear will be released world-wide, after an estimated time of 3 months. HOWEVER, Philippines Ragnarok Online (PRO) is currently the 1st to get this fine headgear to its item mall before any other country.

Baby Class Sprites!

Hey guys,

Time for yet, another sprite add on. I think you guys have noticed with the baby class, that Gravity added a few years back, didn't have it's own sprite. Infact, it was, and is, the same class sprite but down sized to being tiny. Well, I would like to introduce to you guys somthing I designed for G.A.T.E. a few years back, regarding the release of the baby class....

Yup, completely adorable baby sprites. These sprites would appear instead of that cheezy shrinked down class. Infact the image you see is the true size and nature of these baby class.

For fun, I even created the Christmas outfit for them, that would automaticly patch over the current class sprite in december, so it looks like their tuned in for the Christmas spirit.

My unreleased map

Well, I'm glad I was able to keep one of my favorite maps I created for test servers (Sakray), but I never had the heart to release it without a reason. Finally, I do have a reason for this map, and it's a pretty good one! However, I doubt you guys will know what it is, unless this project uses it. Hello again,

I know it hasn’t been a day since my last post, but I want to show this a legitimate Ragnarok Online project that I’ve been working on for a long time. Anyway, I will begin by posting an old but fantastic installment into RO; it's not an official release, but simply something I felt like sharing, since a lot people seemed to be amazed at the work I did for it. Now, please excuse me, this video sample is very old, even older than the date it was posted. It was used to show Gravity and Level-Up that my ideas and work can travel far beyond the limits of Ragnarok Online.

Well, I hope you enjoy this sample! Perhaps somewhere along this current project, this feature can be used, but as of right now, I can't seem to find any purpose in it, besides to prove my skills.

1st Offical Free-2-Play Server !

It’s great you decided to visit again and we hope you continue to…

Well, I would like to announce that the first plan to this operation, which was originally to open a Philippines-licensed Free-2-Play server, has become a reality because of our great partners at Level-Up, Inc! Though this idea had been discussed a little more than a year ago, a lot of red-tape had to be pushed through from Gravity Corp. before it could happen. Along with this, they have also opened the Item Mall, which was another discussed topic in the same meeting.
It seems everything is going well for the project at this point.

Welcome to Project Revolution, where we introduce Ragnarok Online in a revolutionized, new way!

Our goal is to continue the production of Ragnarok where Gravity is currently lefted off, and attempt to attract the new, old, and even private server players of RO. Today, RO is still considered one of the best massive multiplayer online role-playing games to date. However, since the announcement of RO2’s production four years ago, it’s simply not getting enough support. Players realized that RO1’s updates became repetitive, with the same base add-ons, just different terms and appearances. Additionally, what made players really lose faith in the product was the release of Baby, Ninja, & Gunslinger class. Finally, and perhaps the worse, was the poor programming of RO1. Indeed, players noticed that RO had a lot of bugs and functions that were never completed, but some of which I can safely say have just been installed on to current international servers.

Despite the prices, low-quality sprites, missing functions, repetitive patches, and low- quality 3D models, Ragnarok Online still has an aura that drives players to it’s servers. This aura is something no one may ever understand…

Let me start by stating that everything we say and do is under the critical observation of RO players around the world, so it’s only natural to say that we have taken numerous surveys to figure out what makes RO players crave to play it or not to play it.

In this B-Log, we will let you explore a world like no other…the RO world! A world where the could have’s, would have’s, and should have’s actually become reality!

With this Blog, I want to encourage everyone to review the information that is being created for this project and for you to put your best efforts in helping us with your thoughts and comments on each topic.
